Jeff Kreill has resigned as the Butler boys varsity basketball coach after four years.
VANDALIA — Jeff Kreill has stepped down as the Butler boys varsity basketball coach.  Kreill resigned in a letter to Butler Athletic Administrator Ryan Rogers last week.
Kreill stepped down due to time constraints from his position as the Recreation Supervisor at the Vandalia Recreation Center.
Kreill was 46-40 overall and 24-14 in the Greater Western Ohio Conference North division during his four years at the helm.
"I resigned from basketball due to a time crunch with my new position," said Kreill.  "Learning a new job with a lot of responsibilities is very time consuming and coaching at the varsity level is now a year-round commitment.  I just don't feel I can give those kids the time they deserve to have given to them."
